Getting YARP
Here is the most recent source code package for YARP:
CMake is recommended for building these
packages, and is required for compiling full device support.
The only difference between the UNIX download and the Windows
download are line endings on files.
You can also install YARP from SVN:
svn co https://yarp0.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/yarp0/trunk/yarp2

called eBottle.
Pre-compiled binary releases
Gianluca Massera has compiled YARP+ACE for a variety of Linux
distributations -- see:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/EmmeG/.
Due to the diversity of platforms in use, we don't currently
have any pre-compiled binary releases of YARP. Compiling from
source is what you need to do.
There is a partial, experimental binary version of yarp and a humanoid
simulator for Windows here: experimental
win32 binary.
